NH Rhubarb for Throwback Brewery's Rhubarb WitOh, Rhubarb Wit, how we love thee! Every year we look forward to rhubarb season so we can make this beer. Rhubarb Wit is super drinkable, a bit tart, and has very pleasant citrusy / lemon flavors that dance on your palette. To us, this is the epitome of Summer in a glass.

Our Rhubarb Wit is a traditional Belgian White (or Wit) made with belgian ale yeast, orange peal, oats from Maine, and wheat & chamomile from New Hampshire. We then add 75lbs of New Hampshire rhubarb to the beer and let it work its magic!

Rhubarb Wit usually makes an appearance once in late May and once in late June.

Pair this with seafood, cheese (especially goat cheese), salads, and egg dishes like frittatas. We also love to drink it while eating fresh picked strawberries or while eating strawberry shortcake!


When available, Rhubarb Wit can purchased in kegs and growlers.
