October 28th, 2018
12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The leaves are starting to turn and our Gourdgeous Pumpkin Ale just hit the taps. Sweet October we love you so – and not just for all the Oktoberfests you bring, but because October means Halloween!
So come celebrate Halloween a bit early with us as we host our 2nd annual carnival-themed Halloween Harvestfest to benefit Seacoast Eat Local!
We’ll have live music on our stage from The Grim Brothers, kids’ games with prizes, a kids’ costume contest, limited edition beers, and carnival-themed food specials including popcorns balls, caramel apple slices, and Corn Dogs made with our house-made Bratwurst dipped in Nitty Gritty cornmeal batter and served with our house beer mustard. As for the grownups, did we mention farm fresh beer served out of a pumpkin?!
We’ll offer three festive special fall beers for this day, showcased by a Ginger Rum Pumpkin Ale, our Gordgeous Pumpkin Ale enhanced with ginger and rum — served draft style via a pumpkin! We’re also serving up an Apple Crisp Ale, our Dippity Do American Brown featuring flavors of fall – namely apple, cinnamon, and oats, served via cask. And to round it out, a Harvest Pilsener, our Love Me Long Time Pilsener wet hopped with Cascade hops from Wicked Hops in Kingston, NH.
The Seacoast Eat Local Mobile Market (SAMM) will be here, too – raising awareness for the amazing behind-the-scenes work that Seacoast Eat Local does for our community year-round.
This event is family-friendly and free to the public. We love a good costume (as you can see from the photo here of Annette and Alissa – featuring Just Beet Wit and Donkey Hote from last year’s festivities), so get in the ‘spirit’ and join us in dressing up! Carnival-themed games for the kids are $1 each, and 100% of game ticket sales will go to benefit Seacoast Eat Local.
Here’s the Halloween Harvestfest Schedule:
12-4pm: Carnival-themed games for the kids
2pm: Kids’ costume contest
12:30-3:30pm: Live music with The Grim Brothers
This event will be held rain or shine.
Come celebrate the season with us at Throwback’s Halloween Harvestfest!
